Jungmannova 335/29, 110 00 Prague 1
This division coordinates the implementation of activities and measures related to the integration of foreigners as defined by the Policy of the City of Prague for Integration of Foreign Nationals. It cooperates with individual departments of the Prague City Hall, ensures communication and cooperation with institutions, city districts, NGOs and other relevant organisations.
A key partner is the Integration Centre of Prague, o. p. s. established by the Prague City Hall. Its task is to carry out systematic and comprehensive work in the area of integration of migrants. The slogan of the Integration Centre of Prague is “Metropolis for All”, which refers to one of its main aims: to create conditions which will allow migrants living in Prague to feel like fully-fledged citizens of our metropolis and participate in its public life.
Support through Municipal Grants
The Prague City Hall considers the support of activities leading to the integration of foreigners as one of its goals. This also includes supporting projects through the grant procedure – “Programmes supporting activities related to integration of foreigners in the territory of the capital city of Prague”. Migrant organisations, organisations working with migrants, and city districts can submit a grant application for their projects. This way the city hall supports activities that help improve the quality of migrants’ life in Prague as well as activities which help all inhabitants of Prague to get to know one another.
Detailed information about all municipal grants is available in Czech on the portal of the capital city of Prague – here.
The Commission of the Prague City Hall Council for Integration of Foreigners was established by a regulation of the Prague City Hall Council adopted on 31st January 2017. It is an advisory and initiative body of the Prague City Council. The Council is composed of members of the Prague City Assembly and experts representing individual departments of the Prague City Hall, the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, city districts, and NGOs working in the field of integration of foreigners.

Platform of City Districts Representatives for the Topic of Education of Pupils with a Different Mother Tongue
The Platform of City Districts Representatives for the Topic of Education of Pupils with a Different Mother Tongue focused on the children of foreigners started working in 2016 under the coordination of the Prague City Council Department of Education and Youth. This platform represents an opportunity for employees of the city district who are in charge of this agenda to meet. It is also an important source of information about the needs of city districts in the area of education of pupils with a different mother tongue and a source of ideas which help define the future goals in this area. At the same time, it is a space for sharing relevant current issues such as information concerning ways of financing activities related to the education of pupils with a different mother tongue, legislative changes, existing support services etc. It is also important that it is a platform where expert discussions and the exchange of experience can take place.
In the course of the year there are 3 meetings of the platform of representatives of city districts’ education departments.
