More information is available <a href=\"https:\/\/metropolevsech.eu\/en\/obcane-eu-a-jejich-rodinni-prislusnici\/#schengen-en\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Do you want to travel within the Schengen Area?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If your home country does not have a visa requirement for Schengen states, you are free to arrive in Schengen Area members just with a valid travel passport and to reside here for 90 days during every 180-day period.<\/p>\n<p>If you need a visa to enter the Schengen Area, you can do so with a short-term visa (also called a Schengen visa), a long-term visa issued in the CR, a long-term or a permanent residence permit and a valid travel document. You may spend up to 90 days in the territory of other member states of the Schengen Area during every 180-day period.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><div class=\"box-ok\"> If you are a family member of an EU citizen, you can find information about travelling within the Schengen Area and the European Union on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ipc.gov.cz\/en\/life-in-the-eu\/life-in-the-eu-eu-citizens\/traveling-in-the-schengen-area\/?iqTabs=%7B%220%22%3A1%7D\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Official Information Portal for Foreigners of the Ministry of the Interior<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"box-ok\"><em>Use the <a href=\"\/\/ec.europa.eu\/assets\/home\/visa-calculator\/calculator.htm?lang=en\">Schengen calculator<\/a> to calculate how many days you can still spend in the Schengen Area.<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"box-ok\">Remember to arrange travel insurance before going abroad in case you need medical treatment.<\/div>\n<h4><strong>Are you travelling outside the Schengen Area?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Then you need to find out whether the state to which you want to travel has a visa requirement for your home country.<\/p>\n<h4>Travel for Beneficiaries of International Protection<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"159\" data-end=\"454\">If you have been granted asylum or subsidiary protection in the Czech Republic, you cannot use your original passport. To travel abroad, you can apply for a <strong data-start=\"316\" data-end=\"343\">refugee travel document<\/strong> or a <strong data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"368\">foreign passport<\/strong> at the relevant OAMP office. With this document, you can travel for a short period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"456\" data-end=\"685\">Please note that the <strong>granting of asylum does not cancel any international arrest warrant that may have been issued against you.
