MoreCitizens of Ukraine can now use a helpline set in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Blue Line, and the Regional Association of the Prague 1 Czech Red Cross. Its main aim is to provide newcomers from Ukraine with information and support.
The helpline is available free of charge on 800 60 10 20 in several languages: Czech, Ukrainian, Russian, Romani, and Hungarian.
Operators are ready to answer questions on employment, social benefits, social care and prevention, child protection, educational inclusion, and a lot more.
The helpline is also available for cases of crisis intervention – the operators will help newcomers affected by the war conflict in Ukraine who need to confide their experience and find support to cope with the difficult situation.
The Social Assistance Helpline is available at the following times:
Social counselling (Czech, Ukrainian, Russian, Romani, and Hungarian)
Monday–Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Crisis intervention (Czech, Ukrainian, Russian)
Monday–Friday 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday 12:30 to 5 p.m.
