Centre for Follow-Up Support for Ukrainian Refugees

In mid-December, the City of Prague with the financial support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) opened the Centre for Follow-Up Support for Ukrainian Refugees (CFSUR). The centre offers assistance only to temporary protection holders staying in Prague. During the pilot operation, the centre’s staff provide people with basic information on social issues and also help with finding new accommodation to those who had to move out from their original place. In January 2023, CFSUR’s services will be expanded to include social counselling, education, and healthcare.

The centre is located at the same address as KACPU (Regional Assistance Centre for Ukraine) – you will find them on the 3rd floor. The opening hours of both centres are also the same.

The CFSUR was established in connection with the Strategic Framework for Supporting Ukrainian Refugees in the City of Prague. This document, which was approved by the Prague City Council in early November, contains recommendations for some of the municipal departments for addressing the situation of Ukrainian refugees in a coordinated manner. It complies with the Strategic priorities of the Government of the CR to deal with the impact with the Ukrainian refugee crisis.
