Exhibition: Integration through the Eyes of Praguers

Would you like to know how Prague inhabitants see the issue of integration and how foreigners who live here find Prague? Are they successful in integrating into the Czech environment? What are they happy about and what causes trouble to them? Come and see the audio-visual exhibition, which has been created as a part of the international INTEGRA project under the auspices of the Integration Centre Prague. The exhibition presents the outcome of the PhotoVoice campaign which gave foreigners as well as Czechs who live in Prague the opportunity to express their opinion on the real-life integration through photography. The authors of the photos come from Belarus, Russia, Israel, Iraq, Bulgaria, Chile, Greece, Poland, and the Czech Republic and they depict the ups and downs of integration in Prague. Apart from the photos, the exhibition includes audio interviews with some of the authors of the photos in which they reveal their personal experience with migration and the joys and challenges related to their integration into the Czech society.

 

The exhibition is open until 24^th May 2019 at the headquarters of the Integration Centre Prague (Žitná 51) during their opening hours (//icpraha.com/kontakty/) and also outside the opening hours upon previous agreement.
