MoreThe Prague 13 City District together with the Integration Centre of Prague is hosting a community event for the whole family called “We Are Not Strangers…”. This event is a part of the “Our Common Address – Prague 13“ project and is part of the Agenda 21 list of events which will take place on Saturday 23 June 2018 from 2 p.m in Prague 13’s Central Park next to the bowling centre.
A rich cultural programme will take place throughout Saturday morning. You can look forward to concerts as well as theatre performances for children. As for the youngest visitors, they will also have the opportunity to test their skills at the Kutil juniors’ workshop and to take part in an art workshop. Face painting which is so popular with children won’t be missing either. There will be workshops for adults, too. If you are interested in human rights protection, come and join “Live Library”, a series of short educational discussions with representatives of national and social minorities which the organisers have prepared for you in cooperation with the Czech branch of Amnesty International.
There will be several stands with refreshments and a newly installed grill for you to use. The event and the accompanying activities are free for everyone. Don’t forget to bring musical instruments and songbooks.
“We Are Not Strangers” is organised as a part of the “Our Common Address – Prague 13” project focused on the integration of foreigners with the support of the Ministry of the Interior of the CR and the Prague 13 City District.
