Come to the House of Children and Young People of the City of Prague and celebrate the Walpurgis Night! Burning of the witches is a Czech folk tradition which takes place on the last day of April. As every year, the House of Children and Young People has prepared an afternoon full of games, competitions, and art activities. The event is intended especially for young children from the age of 3. There will be small and easy games, a pleasant atmosphere, and an enclosed playground area. The number of visitors will be limited. After 5 o’clock in the afternoon, a bonfire will be lit. Everyone can roast a špekáček – a traditional Czech short fat sausage – and sing songs with a guitar.
Venue: Klub Klamovka DDM hl. m. Prahy, Podbělohorská 3, Prague 5
Contact and reservations: novotnar@ddmpraha.cz, 777 751 706
The event is free of charge.
