MoreThe Integration Centre Prague invites you to visit a part of Prague whose history is known only to few, yet well-worth your attention: Invalidovna, Prague 8’s emblematic building with a rich history surrounded by a park.
When: Saturday 15th July from 2 p.m. The walk takes about an hour.
Meeting point: The Memorial to drowned sappers – close to the main road between the tram stops Urxova and Invalidovna, at the edge of Sudkovy sady next to the Invalidovna building.
The walk is not suitable for children.
The tour will be guided in Czech. It is intended for people with at least intermediate knowledge of Czech who want to learn more about this interesting place in Prague as well as practice their Czech. Czech native speakers are welcome too.
It is necessary to book your place in advance.
The tour is FREE and does not include entrance to the building itself. Entrance to Invalidovna is charged (CZK 140/person). You can visit the building after the guided walk individually.
