MoreIn cooperation with the Junák – Czech Scout organisation, a contact awareness centre for Ukrainian refugees has been set up in the Svitlo community centre on Old Town Square.
At the infopoint, newcomers will be informed about organisations and institutions they can contact if they need services of a lawyer, social worker, intercultural professional, psychologist, etc. The Ukrainian-speaking staff will also introduce them to the health care and education systems, they will explain to what offices they need to go to arrange their matters, tell them how the Prague public transport works, and they will also give them tips for Czech courses, leisure activities for children, adaptation groups, etc.
The operation of the centre is implemented as a part of the project of the City of Prague “Contact Awareness Centre for Ukrainian Refugees” to support the integration of temporary protection holders at the local level in 2022, co-financed by the Ministry of the Interior of the CR.
