MoreThe DUMKA team that provides psychosocial support to people fleeing the war in Ukraine has been created thanks to the cooperation of the AMIGA association, Fokus Praha, Green Doors, and the Metropolitan Health Service with the support of the City of Prague.
The team is composed of Ukrainian and Russian speaking specialists in mental health, health care and social work. These specialists work with clients in their native language. They help them stabilise their mental state and also assist with other issues related to adaptation to life in the Czech Republic. The services are provided to clients for free.
DUMKA cooperates with other non-profit organisations, educational institutions, health care facilities and others who assist Ukrainian refugees. Their aim is to offer comprehensive solutions to clients’ problems with an emphasis on their mental health.
