Assisting Vulnerable Persons from Ukraine to Move to Rental Housing

We would like to remind you that as of 1 September 2024, state humanitarian accommodation will be provided for the maximum of 90 days from the moment of receiving the first temporary protection to all temporary protection holders including people with the status of vulnerable persons. In some of the Czech regions it is possible to find rental housing using the assistance offered by non-profit organisations.

 

What to expect?

  • Assistance with finding rental housing
  • Assistance with communication with real estate agents and property owners
  • Assistance with administrative tasks
  • One-off financial support to cover initial costs (security deposit, fees, rent)

 

Who can use the assistance?

  • Vulnerable persons who have been staying at hostels on a long-term basis
  • People who received state humanitarian accommodation before 31st December 2023 

How to apply for assistance?

  • Contact the relevant non-profit organisation in your region
  • They will discuss your situation and options with you
  • They will provide you with information and help you submit the application
