For the fourth season in a row, you can sit on the iconic black chairs in various places in Prague. You can find them in places where it used to be impossible to sit down for a while. The chairs also transform previously unused public places into more pleasant areas. This year they are at more than 70 different places. Apart from popular places such as Lesser Town Square, Stalin, or the Štvanice island, you can now have a seat and a snack or a cup of coffee for example at Vítězné náměstí, Prosek, or the Jezerka park.
The Prague chairs and tables are also available for short-time rent. Last year, they appeared at non-profit events in the public space, such as neighbourhood gatherings or The Different City Experience and other cultural events. During the summer, loungers will appear in select areas as a new addition to the project.
For more information, including the list of places where you can find the chairs, see the website of the Prague City Hall.
