Many Newly Arrived Foreigners Still Unaware of the Obligation to Take an Adaptation and Integration Course, Despite Risk of Heavy Fines

MoreThe project “Darujeme kroužky dětem” (Donating Afterschool Activities to Children) of the Czech Council of Children and Youth offers families in need a financial contribution for leisure time activities for children and young people aged 3 to 18. The project is also open for families newly arrived from Ukraine due to the war conflict that have been staying in the CR on the basis of a temporary protection visa or a tolerance visa and whose income does not exceed 3.4 times the minimum subsistence level.
Children born between 2nd September 2005 and 31st January 2022. The application is submitted by the child’s legal representative (parent, guardian, custodian). The families have to produce a document proving that they have been claiming the child allowance or similar social benefits.
Families may get up to CZK 1,500 per child per term, that is up to CZK 3,000 per school year.
Applications for the winter term will be accepted from 17th September to 17th November 2024.
The contribution can be used for club membership, participation in expeditions and races, musical instruments, sports equipment, etc. More information is available on the project website.

More
