Czech Language and Literary Competition

The Meta NGO has launched the 5^th year of the language and literary competition Čeština je i můj jazyk (Czech is my language as well). For the fifth time, primary and secondary school students can give some thought to what it means to be a foreigner and not to understand people around them. The competition encourages literary creation and brings an opportunity for students whose mother tongue is Czech and speakers of different mother tongues to become acquainted with each other. This year’s competition motto is: ‘Try to look at the world through different eyes. You will see that not everyone sees it the way you do.’
