MoreEffective Wednesday midnight (18th March), everyone will need to wear a protective face covering in all public spaces. Protective equipment means respirators, face masks, as well as scarfs and shawls.
From Wednesday there will also be shopping hours reserved only for seniors over 65 at retail food stores, drug stores, and pharmacies: 10:00 to 12:00 a.m. This measure is to protect the elderly for whom the coronavirus poses the most risk. During these hours, no one else should enter the shops and seniors are advised not to go shopping at any other time.
The government has also ordered health checks at the border for those who return home from work abroad.
