Parenting and emigration: help your child adapt in a foreign country

Moving to another country is difficult for both parents and their children. The stress of adapting to life in a new country can affect the relationship between the parent and the child. Does communication between you and your child deteriorate? Is your child withdrawing into himself/herself? Does he or she spend much time online or lose motivation to study?

We invite all parents to a seminar where you will learn:

  • How to support your child in adapting to a new environment;
  • how not to lose emotional contact;
  • how to find common ground;
  • how to set healthy boundaries at home.

The seminar will be led by psychologist Mgr. Igor Mikriukov, who actively works with migrants – children, adults, and families.
