MoreSince 2 January, refugee families from Ukraine can seek assistance at a new contact point at the premises of the Prague Maidan non-profit organisation that has replaced the Centre for Follow-Up Support. The new contact point operates in the Prague 4 City Hall located on Táborská 500/30, 140 00 Prague 4 – Nusle.
Prague Maidan is a non-profit organisation funded by Czech and Ukrainian activists who have been offering humanitarian aid and organising various cultural and leisure events for Ukrainians in the Prague capital since the outbreak of the conflict. The new contact point provides basic social counselling (information on the requirements for humanitarian benefits applicants), healthcare counselling (health insurance and medical services), advice on housing (information on temporary emergency accommodation, the HUMPO humanitarian accommodation system), and advice on the education system (information on compulsory school and pre-school attendance).
