MoreDo you like tasting exotic food and trying out new recipes? Then visit SIMI foodblog, “Recipes with People’s Stories”! Why not to try out proper Ukrainian borscht or a chess cake recipe by an Armenian cook? The many recipes on the blog are sorted by the country of origin.
SIMI stands for Sdružení pro integraci a migraci (Association for Integration and Migration), a non-governmental non-profit organisation which has been helping migrants through various projects for more than twenty years. The blog offers culinary tips and you can also search it to discover the cultures from which the recipes originate. The authors are foreigners who have found their home in the Czech Republic and who tell their stories through their recipes.
On the foodblog you can also find invitations to regular multicultural evenings where you can meet interesting people, talk to them about their countries, and taste specialities from different parts of the world
More information is available on SIMI’s website.
