MoreWould you like to learn more about teaching Czech as a second language and about the options for the inclusive education of children whose Czech is not fluent yet? The Inkluzivní škola.cz portal offers seminars on this topic for kindergarten, elementary school, and secondary school teachers which will take place in Prague and Brno.
The Inkluzivní škola.cz portal is intended especially for teachers, school directors, teachers’ assistants, psychologists, and social workers who take part in the integration of children with a different mother tongue into the Czech education system and the Czech society. The portal is administered by META, o.p.s., a non-profit organisation which has been promoting foreigners’ education and work integration since 2004. They also offer support to teachers and schools which deal with specific needs of children with a different mother tongue. They offer counselling for foreigners and also organise Czech courses. Their volunteers provide after-school lessons to children. META creates methodical and education materials and holds accredited seminars.
