Change of employer

Changing jobs? Do you hold an employee card without free access to the labour market (the so-called dual one)? Watch out: a change of employment reported incorrectly or too late may lead to the cancellation of your card.
If your current employment has already ended, a notification of a change of employer must be delivered to the Ministry of the Interior no later than the 90th day after the employment ended.
An incomplete or incorrect notification is considered as if it had not been submitted, so prepare it carefully. If you later notice a mistake, submit a new complete notification.
Make sure that the new employment contract meets all the required requirements. The job position stated in the contract must correspond to the position recorded in the Central Register of Vacant Job Positions that may be filled by employee card holders (EVPM).
State the start date with care. It must be the same in the form and in the employment contract, and at the same time, it must not be earlier than 30 days after the notification of the change of employment.
