Wednesday 16th October is the day to learn something about Indonesia and the batik technique. The programme starts at 5:30 and it will be presented by representatives of the Indonesian embassy together with Linda Kaplanová, a lecturer of batik.
Linda studied the traditional fabric decoration technique of batik in Indonesia for two years and she will introduce you to the typical ornaments and decoration motives. She will help you to make your own batik. Fabrics and all necessary equipment will be provided. You can take your creation home with you.
WHEN: Wednesday 16th October from 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Democratic Education Centre, Sokolovská 106/42, Prague 8.

Voluntary entrance fee.
