Prague Is Our Home: A Common Path to Integration

We want to introduce you to a new handy microsite for new Prague residents!

Our aim is to help those who have decided to live in Prague, make it easier for them to integrate here and provide them with all important information and interactive instructions.  That’s why in cooperation with Integration Centre Prague we have created a microsite called “Prague Is Our Home: A Common Path to Integration”.

This website is linked to the content of our Prague for All website and is designed for new residents of Prague who are seeking practical advice, support and information necessary for an easy start in the Czech capital.

What does the microsite offer?

Interactive signpost: Simply answer a few questions and get an overview of the responsibilities and recommendations that are important shortly after your arrival in the Czech Republic.

Educational videos: Practical videos explaining topics such as establishing a trade licence, the Czech education system, pensions, pregnancy in the CR or services offered by libraries and children and youth centres.

Bilingual communication cards: Enjoy smoother communication at offices and authorities using cards with useful phrases and vocabulary for various situations such as an appointment at the OAMP, the trade licensing office, the employment office, a library or the register of drivers.

How do the websites work together?

While on our Prague for All website you can find detailed information on life in Prague, news, invitations to events and inspiring stories of Praguers from all corners of the world, the “Prague Is Our Home” microsite will guide you through the most important steps after the arrival through an interactive signpost and give you practical tools such as communication cards and instructional videos. Together, they form a comprehensive information resource that every newcomer to Prague can use.
