Change to the Czech language exam for permanent residence (A2)

Valid from April 11, 2026. 4. From April 11, 2026, the format of the A2 exam for permanent residence will partially change.

What is important to know:

• the Writing and Speaking sections are changing
• the exam level remains A2
• certificates and exam dates remain the same
• the modernized format 4. applies from April 11, 2026
