Prague has launched preparations for a new Policy of the Capital City of Prague for the Integration of Foreigners for the period 2028–2033. The first important suggestions were made at the Regional Advisory Platform convened by the Prague Integration Centre.
The discussion focused on three key areas: the current needs of migrants, the obstacles institutions and service providers encounter, and what needs to be improved so that all residents of Prague can live together better.
Representatives of the city, non-profit organisations, experts, and people with migration experience gathered around one table. The goal was to identify specific problems and propose solutions that will be reflected in the city’s new strategy.
The policy currently under preparation is intended to strengthen cooperation between integration stakeholders and establish a long-term and comprehensible framework of support for the coming years.
