In Old Bohemian Style
The Modřany House of Children and Young People warmly invites you to the 4th year of their unique family event – this time in the old Bohemian atmosphere. You will be able to try out various traditional crafts: coinage, rope making, metalwork, wirework, jewellery making, and many others. There will be a hand-carved and hand-cranked old fashion carousel for you to enjoy. You can take a ride in an original old Bohemian taxi and play a plenty of traditional games, too. During the whole time of the event, there will be barrel organ music and typically-dressed old Czechs who will show you how to make traditional wooden toys, candles, and other small products. The atmosphere will be complemented by a stage programme with folk and multicultural performances.
Do not miss this unique walk through Czech history and make sure to stop by the Vineyard House to take a trip back in time.
Where: Vineyard House (Viniční dům) – Chuchelská 6
When: 17th September 2021, from 3 to 6 p.m.
For more information, see the website or the Facebook event.
