IOM Conference on Intercultural Competences

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) invites you to a conference entitled “What are intercultural competences? How are they perceived?”

It is a final conference following an intercultural competences training programme for community workers. The aim of the project was to teach the participants to provide services within the framework of common practice (in accordance with the Social Services Act), so that clients in different places and at different organisations supported by IOM are provided the services in the same way.

The focus of the conference will be on the use of intercultural competences in different situations with clients and institutions. The conference programme will consist of presentations by the training course graduates, who will share good practice from the field and their experience from the course. There will be links to training materials and brochures for work with clients from Ukraine and tips on offering other seminars and internships outside the IOM.

Registration via form.

The conference will also be available to watch online. A link to the live stream will be posted in the event description a few days before the event.
