The event is organised by the Matertera association. Translated from Latin, Matertera means ‘mother’s sister’, a symbol of a woman who is here to provide help at a time when mom or another close person is not available. Matertera’s aim is to help migrant women overcome barriers and support them in their personal as well as professional growth. They create a community of women who have decided to pursue their dreams and support each other. For more information, see Matertera’s website.
