MoreWould you like to get to know your neighborhood a bit more, meet new people, or participate in local community events?
In cooperation with the City Hall of Prague 11, we invite you to a workshop and discussion on possibilities of civic engagement in Prague 11. During the workshop we will look at various organizations and initiatives that exist in Prague 11 (e.g. non-profit organizations, community activities, volunteering etc.). We will present a new toolkit that deals with the topic of engagement and provides examples of local organizations.
As a part of the workshop, we will visit the Vidimova community garden. It is a great place for organizing community events and meeting new people. We are happy to invite you to an informal gathering at the garden with Latin American music as a bonus.
When: Thursday, July 29, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: Vidimova 1324 + Jaľlovická 10 (community garden Vidimova)
Trainers: Natallia Allen, InBáze z.s., Mónica Márquez Bobadilla InBáze z.s., Anna Černá, Vidimova community garden.
Music performance: Andrés Domínguez Vidal (Cumbia Cooperativa)
Language: Czech, we can provide interpretation into English.

In view of the current epidemiological situation, registration is required (until July, 28th 2021).
The workshop will take place in person at Prague 11 City Hall as well as in the outdoor areas of community garden Vidimova, all participants need to comply with covid restrictions valid on the day (e.g. respirator, negative test, etc.).
