Prague Will Host a Unique Football Tournament in Support of UN’s Global Goals

For the first time in history, the Czech Republic will host Global Goals World Cup Prague – a unique women’s football tournament. The registration of teams opens on the symbolical date of 8^th March, the International Women’s Day, and closes on 31^st March 2019. The final will take place on the Wenceslas square on 29^th May 2019. There will be famous sportsmen and politicians from the CR and abroad.

 

The matches will take place simultaneously at two pitches. The visitors may also look forward to a varied accompanying programme and live-streamed debates on sustainability. The players will have their base at the IKEA Point which is also where the visitors may come for inspiration on sustainability.
