For the first time in history, the Czech Republic will host Global Goals World Cup Prague – a unique women’s football tournament. The registration of teams opens on the symbolical date of 8th March, the International Women’s Day, and closes on 31st March 2019. The final will take place on the Wenceslas square on 29th May 2019. There will be famous sportsmen and politicians from the CR and abroad.
The matches will take place simultaneously at two pitches. The visitors may also look forward to a varied accompanying programme and live-streamed debates on sustainability. The players will have their base at the IKEA Point which is also where the visitors may come for inspiration on sustainability. More information is available on the website of the Prague City Hall and on www.globalnicile.cz.
