RefuFest is celebrating a major milestone this year. On Saturday, 20 June 2026, the festival will mark its 20th edition, and Prague will once again become a place for gathering, sharing, and celebrating diversity on the occasion of World Refugee Day. Mark your calendar now!

For two decades, the festival has been bringing people together across cultures and creating a space to discover new stories, flavours, and music from around the world. Visitors can look forward to a diverse programme featuring concerts, food tastings, inspiring encounters, and activities for all ages.
RefuFest was founded on the idea of creating an open and safe space where people with migration experience and the wider public can come together. RefuFest co-founder Jana Hradilková recalls the very beginnings in a video by InBaze, explaining how the idea for the festival – now one of Prague’s major community events – came to life:
