The Integration Centre Prague presents a guide of interesting migration-related places in Prague. The name is very symbolic and fits the guide very well, as according to the ICP’s website, the salad bowl represents “a cultural model describing a society in which people from different cultures live together without conflicts, while maintaining their traditions and customs. The society is not a homogeneous matter but a combination of many unique elements, individuals, and cultures, and can thus be compared to unmashed salad ingredients.
On the website of the SALAD BOWL of PRAGUE you will find mainly restaurants, bistros, and shops run by foreigners with very inspiring stories and tips for walks related to migration history or culture. Try for example Ms Mancho’s soup bistro in Prague 2. Here you can taste excellent Georgian soups and also khachapuri, a traditional Georgian cheese-filled bread, which is an unbeatable delicacy.
For more information, see the website of the SALAD BOWL of PRAGUE.
