Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year (CNY) is approaching and so is another event of the Czech-Chinese Funclub – event which is all about Czech-Chinese cultural exchange!  This time, it will take place in English and we will focus on discovering more about the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Have you ever experienced them? And if so, were there more than just greasy food?  Come to our event to find out and discuss all the fun and interesting facts about how Chinese people really celebrate their New Year as well as how it is experienced by the non-Chinese.

What to expect:

• An overview of Chinese New Year (CNY)
• Various CNY traditions in different Chinese communities, countries and areas
• Interesting stories of CNY from a non-Chinese perspective
• A taste of traditional CNY activities (and snacks)

When: 18:30-20:00, Thursday, 3rd Feb, 2022

Where: Central office of Integration Center Prague, Žitná 51, 110 00 Praha 1 (green classroom, 4th floor)

The club will take place in English, free of charge and in accordance with the current Covid restrictions and regulations.
