Lecture on the Basics of Employment Law

Would you like to learn about the essential elements of an employment contract? Do you want to know who can help you when you face difficulties at work? What are the taxes, insurance, etc. that you need to pay as an employee? Sign up for a Zoom lecture hosted by the Centre for the Integration of Foreigners (CIC).

The lecture will cover the following topics:

• The difference among the employment contract, the agreement to perform work (‘DPP’) and the agreement to complete a job (‘DPČ’).
• Gross and net wages. The conditions under which the employer pays insurance and taxes for the employee.
• Giving a notice, termination of employment by agreement, immediate termination of employment.
• Where to seek help if you face difficulties at work?
