The National Theatre is preparing its traditional festive opening of the new 2025/2026 theatre season, which will take place on Monday, 1 September 2025, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Střelecký Island.
The event, called Národní Open Air, will showcase all of the National Theatre’s artistic ensembles. Visitors can look forward to performances, meetings with artists and theatre-makers, a fairy tale for children, creative workshops, and a variety of activities for all ages. The programme will also feature a zone with sustainable fashion by NDup, opportunities to purchase tickets and promotional items, a photo corner, and a flea market. The evening will culminate in a concert.
In addition to cultural experiences, the event will also offer refreshments, opportunities to meet people, and an inspiring atmosphere.
