The Centre for the Integration of Foreigners (CIC) has published an updated brochure called Mama Knows II (Máma ví II.) intended for expectant mothers who are going to give birth in the Czech Republic. The brochure is available in Czech and Ukrainian and can be downloaded for free from the CIC’s website.

The brochure will mainly introduce you to the pregnancy screening and exam schedule, explain what happens in the delivery room, how the baby is treated after birth, and provide you with a lot of useful information. You will also find here a list of things for you and your baby to take to the maternity hospital and a list of all documents you will need.
