InBaze Offers Free Requalification Course on Intercultural Work

InBaze together with the Faculty of Arts of Charles University offer an education requalification programme accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports called ‘Intercultural Expert’. It is a unique requalification programme which enables the participants to obtain the professional qualification of an ‘intercultural worker’ according to the National Register of Qualifications.

For whom is the programme suitable?

The programme is especially intended for people whose profession is to work with the target group of ‘migrants and refugees’ or children and pupils with a different mother tongue and their families and who want to obtain the professional qualification of an intercultural worker.

What do you get by completing the course?

  • Practical skills and competencies necessary for the performance of intercultural work with a focus on work with children and pupils with a different mother tongue, their families, and other players in education.
  • Individual or group professional methodological support during and after the course.
  • A certificate of completion of the requalification programme accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
  • After successful passing of the final exam, you will also receive a certificate of the qualification of the intercultural worker.

 

The education programme comprises 251 hours, 50 hours of which consist in professional experience at organisations which provide services within intercultural work, contractual kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.

The programme consists of 12 weekend blocks.

Lessons will take place between 27th March 2020 and 10th January 2021. The final exam will take place in February 2021. The introductory meeting and the occupational health and safety training (OHS) will be on Friday 20th March 2020 from 1.30 to 4:00 p.m. at the community centre of InBaze – Legerova 357/50, Prague 2.

Participation in the programme is free of charge.
