MoreFrom September 2021, the level of the Czech exam for permanent residence will be raised from A1 to A2. What matters is the date of submission of the application for permanent residence. If you submit it on 1st September or later, you have to take the A2 exam. First dates for the A2 exam are planned for November 2021.
Everyone who submits their application for permanent residence no later than 31st August 2021 will be able to prove that they have passed the A1 exam. If you do not provide your exam certificate by this date, you will be able to register for the Autumn dates in 2021.
