The Prague 5 City District, which is located on the left bank of the Vltava River, is made up of the formerly individual municipalities Smíchov, Košíře, Motol, Hlubočepy, Radlice, Jinonice-Butovice and the southern tip of the Lesser Town – Újezd. What used to be a villa area and a place where the working class lived is now a modern administrative and shopping centre, which meets the demanding requirements of modern living.

Prague 5 organises Czech language courses and various public events. In 2016 there was for example a celebration of the International Migrants Day.
At Grafická primary school there is an afternoon club called Imagion. It enables children to spend their leisure time in a meaningful way and learn new things together with their peers in a safe environment. Parents and the public can come to have a look at what their children do in the club. Imagion is also open to cooperation with parents, the school and NGOs. The club is suitable for children who need support in learning Czech. To learn about the current project called Poznávejme se (Let’s get to know each other”), you can have a look at the information in Czech here.
